World collections- Bexhill Museum

Last month I lead a course looking at the World Collections at Bexhill Museum, Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex. The group used the collection to inspire their embroidered book jackets. Stitching in India

It was lovely to watch a very skilled embroiderer sewing on a sheesha while on a recent trip to India. I will be adding more images from what was an amazing journey around Gujarat and Rajasthan.
