Global Dimensions Conference, March 2013
Hi Claire,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for yesterday. The workshop was so broadly applicable and of huge value to the teachers attending. I was really struck each time I came by the hushed concentration as people took your ideas and ran with them, it was brilliant. You also managed to convey a huge raft of concepts in such a short time and in adversely cold conditions! My head was buzzing with ideas and the simple fact that I suddenly looked at everyday things so differently, thanks to you! When I leave I will take your contact details with me as I would love to bring you in to my new school. Many thanks again and I feel certain that our paths will cross in the future.
Kind regards,

Hi Claire,
On Wednesday eve I sat down with a basket making book and did the basket. I can see now what my mistake was. After folding the paper it only took 20mins– I wasn’t going to be defeated. I think everyone enjoyed themselves Marilyn made a beautifully embroidered one since. Inspiring and fun workshop using recycled materials using traditional techniques; lots of ideas to make baskets’ in all shapes and sizes-continuing to make baskets at home. Should have been a 2 day course!
Thanks for that,
See you soon,
Jane, Angmering, West Sussex

Just to say thank you so much for a lovely day on Saturday. I found it so helpful and interesting and feel more confident to have a go at home now and have set myself a task to gather odd bits of material whenever I am out and about! Margaret, Hastings, East Sussex
