Salt-it is a hard life

The current snowy conditions in England reminded me of the people of the salt marshes of The Little Rann of Kutch, Gujarat, India. They live with their feet in salty water processing the salt to remove the water preparing it for commercial and industrial such as dishwashers and roads. The children were so welcoming it was heart warming especially when you think about the harshness of the lives they lead.  Nomadic tribes were aslo moving through the marshes on the National Highway highlighting  the contrasts in technology in the world.
