3 small tapestries

These small tapestries use my signature colour blending techniques. The patterns are taken from drawings made at the beautiful Indian Durbar Hall at Hastings Museum. I have used fragments of the pattern to highlight the intensity of the image and the elusive nature of the patterns.

Claire I found my way to your website via the Crit group at De La Warr and recent profiles sent out. I like the tapestry/weaving and subtle colours and textures here. I find that weaving and tapestry both visually and symbolically often inspires me. thankyou, Sue Adams.
